About Sojourn.

Although established in 2022, Sojourn Coffee began long before that as a collection of my experiences and gleanings within the coffee industry. Sojourn began as my dream of what a coffee shop could be. A place to call home. Not family by blood but by shared experience.

We opened our doors on Barrack Street on the 10th March 2022. We will open the doors of our second location in Belfast early in the New Year. We can’t wait to see you there.

My Story

Hey! My name is Harry and welcome to Sojourn. My love for specialty coffee began at the age of 18 and since then my heart has been set on opening my own cafe. Now, after 4 years of working within the coffee industry and saving up, I am so thankful my dream is becoming a reality. For me coffee is much more than a caffeinated drink, each coffee has a story and people behind it. Within the specialty coffee world we often talk about Seed to Cup and so our job, as coffee brewers, is to bring everything together to make that coffee the best it can be. On top of that, we have the honor of communicating to our customers the story of the coffee’s origin detailing the who, where and how. When you come to Sojourn we hope that you can feel at home for a little while.
